Frascole
VINI ARTIGIANALI, NATURA & ACCOGLIENZA

Frascole, a borderland. Just a few steps, among the vineyards or in the small village, and the view suddenly changes. Now you look out on Mugello now on Valdisieve, with your gaze towards those distant hills that enclose Florence. Important archaeological finds testify to the cultivation of vines on this soil already at the time of the Etruscans.
We are between 300 and 500 meters, where the climatic characteristics of Chianti Rufina area are extreme. Here artisan wines are born followed by the vineyard to the cellar by the bottle.
The red and white wines originate both from local grapes, such as Sangiovese and Trebbiano, but also from allochthonous ones. Like Pinot Noir or Traminer which, from the encounter with this land, allow intriguing characteristics to emerge.
The path of each bottle is followed with attention to its specificities. The most precious pearl, the Vinsanto DOC from Trebbiano grapes, takes more than ten years to complete its path. On the same hills grow olive trees from which it is pressed extra virgin olive oil.
Since 1992, the Lippi and Santoni families have dedicated themselves to the production of wine and oil, in full respect of nature and territory. Always organic, both the wines and the oil have been certified since 1999.
In the small medieval village, which houses the winecellar, there is space for those looking for a farmhouse holiday, surrounded by greenery but with the wonders of Tuscan cities at hand.
